pricing FAQs

  • This is a one-time, labor intensive setup fee. Digitizing takes anywhere from a few hours to a week+ to complete.

Digitizing is the manual process of designing your art to be recreated from stitches in a licensed software that makes machine specific files.

Many vendors keep this cost light because they use automatic processes or low quality software that can lead to low quality stitch outs.

I use the highest quality software that's made for my Bernina machine and took extensive training to learn how to digitize by hand so I can deliver the highest quality design. This process ultimately transforms your design into a precise stitch file that allows it to sew cleanly and accurately.

The result is the difference between getting a design that is an exact reflection of your design vs a recognizable version of your design.

Digitizing fees vary depending on the size and level of detail required for your design.

Test Stitch: After a logo is digitized it’s stitched on a test material so I can find imperfections, update the logo, and repeat the process until it's perfect. As many rounds as necessary are included and sometimes this takes ten+ rounds.

Each stitch out is about an hour from hooping to stitching to cleaning the design. Each time I update the design in the software it takes anywhere from 1-3 hours. The test stitch fee also covers your first item embroidered.

  • This covers the time it takes to hoop, stitch, and clean an item. Each embroidery can take anywhere from an hour to six hours.

Every item is stitched using professional-grade thread that is shrink-proof and fade-proof. Each embroidery uses high-end stabilizers and toppers to ensure your design is stitched out cleanly and lasts for years. Price varies by the size of the item as it increases the materials and time needed to complete the project.

Blithe uses top-of-the-line embroidery equipment that requires significant upfront investment and ongoing maintenance to deliver consistent, high-quality stitching. Every time the machine is turned on it requires materials to prepare it for stitching.

  • Each color is stitched one at a time and every color needs to be manually changed. Because of the increased time and use of thread, there are fees for designs with over 5 colors.

  • If you aren’t sure what blank items you should use to embroider you can send me a list of features you want the item to have and I can source options and deliver a list to you with prices and differentiating factors of each item to help you make your decision.

  • Get your item gift wrapped with nice wrapping paper, tissue paper, and a ribbon or bow.

  • Embroidery cannot go over a pocket without stitching the pocket shut. In order to embroider on a pocket and keep the pocket functional, the pocket must be removed. If there is an internal pocket the pocket will need to be removed and reattached by hand. This takes time and accuracy to mimic the pocket’s exact stitch.

  • Since Blithe Embroidery is a one-woman show and side business that only operates on the weekends and has had a queue of orders since opening, when you order your will automatically be placed in the queue. If you need your item sooner than it’s placement in the queue you can get a rushed service for a fee.

Pay What You Can OPTION
